Bouclier déflecteur

Les boucliers déflecteurs, aussi appelés écrans déflecteurs, déflecteurs ou simplement boucliers étaient des champs d'énergie transparents ou translucides produits par des générateurs. Ces générateurs pouvaient être placés sur des planètes, des droïdes, des vaisseaux spatiaux et des bâtiments individuels. L'objectif principal du bouclier est de bloquer ou détourner les projectiles énergétiques ou non afin de les empêcher d'atteindre l'objet qu'il protège. Ils permettaient aussi d'augmenter la vitesse en atmosphère des vaisseaux.
